Product Lead
About the Role
Joining Griffiths Waite as a Product Lead gives you the opportunity to shape meaningful products while working closely with client teams. You'll sit at the intersection of product analysis, business analysis, and delivery. You'll work directly with client product owners and business analysts, helping them make clear decisions, validate assumptions, and turn ideas into solutions that work. You will be responsible for ensuring that your product is a business asset to the client and that it appreciates in value year on year, whilst also increasing the revenue of the product for GW.
This role fits someone who is analytical, structured, practical, and confident in guiding product direction. You'll run discovery sessions, break down requirements, ensure the team is focused on value, and lead day-to-day delivery through standard agile practices.

- Collaboration – We work together openly and supportively, believing that true success is a shared achievement.

If these values resonate with you, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing as a Product Lead
You'll anchor a cross-functional team and work as the key link between the client's product function and GW's delivery team. Your focus will be on clarity, value, and execution. You should bring an entrepreneurial mindset which balances commercial considerations with longer-term returns and client satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and product thinking - Run workshops, map user journeys, define problems clearly, explore options, and help clients make both confident and strategic product decisions that reflect the overall vision for the product.
- Turn insight into actionable requirements - Break down themes into epics and user stories, shape acceptance criteria, keep the backlog sharp, and ensure the team always understands the why behind the work.
- Guide delivery through agile practice - Run sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retros. Keep delivery honest and predictable in line with the products roadmap while adapting quickly when reality changes.
- Work directly with client stakeholders - Build strong relationships based on trust. Communicate product direction, decisions, risks, and trade-offs without jargon. You should have and be able to clearly articulate the value the product will create for the client.
- Align product and technical direction - Work with engineering leads to balance business priorities with technical constraints and long-term thinking. You should be clear on the technological challenges which need to be overcome and collaborate on introducing new technology or innovative approaches to the product whilst managing technical debt and extending the lifespan of the product.
- Drive measurable outcomes - Help define success metrics, validate whether the work delivered has moved the needle, and adjust the roadmap where needed. You will be responsible for the success of the product against its KPIs and the communication of this success to the client, and as such will leverage this success for pitching further enhancements and opportunities to grow the client.
- Foster clear communication and strong team culture - Bring clarity, calm, and structure. Set expectations, support the team, and keep everyone focused on value.
